Sagada, Philippines : Sagada is a beautiful place to visit. The people are very friendly and the views of the mountain side, the rice terraces are breath taking. The ancient coffins are found hanging on the side of the limestone cliffs and also inside caves. Although the trip was a gruelling 6-7 hrs. bus ride then another 2- 3 hrs. jeepney ride on unpaved roads, the trip was very memorable. I would definitely like to visit again someday. A word of caution, if you're going to take public transportation from Banawe to Sagada, make sure you don't eat too much on the way up/down due to rough roads. You'll be tossed around and sometimes violently. That was our experience anyway. Hopefully the roads have improved. We visited on February 2003. These pictures were scanned from prints.

El Nido, Palawan : El Nido is in the Northwest part of Palawan. It has many beautiful sceneries to explore not just beaches but also caves to explore. A very memorable and beautiful place to visit. I heard it's a great place to go diving also. The best time to go I think is off season. I went there on February 2003. These photos are scanned from prints.

El Nido Resort - Lagen Island, Palawan : This is one of the best resort I've been to so far. It is located at the Northwestern part of Palawan. This is one of two resorts in the area the other being Miniloc Island. I highly recommend this resort if you're looking to relax and do some sightseeing. Nice place to go diving also eventhough I only took the intro course which is part of the package. The staff are very accommodating and very friendly and the food are great. This is also one of the pit stop of the U.S. hit show "The Amazing Race". Would love to go back again someday. These photos are scanned from prints.
